Hi, I’m Julia
FOUNDER OF BEAMING BEAUTY STUDIO
Hi, I’m Julia, the founder of Beaming Beauty Studio and a Madison, WI-based esthetician and makeup artist. Beauty has always been my thing—I was the go-to friend for makeup at dances, big events, and weddings. In 2017, I started doing makeup part-time while working office jobs, not realizing that my true passion was right in front of me.
My operational background helped me land a job as a manager at a salon + med spa, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience. My mentor there saw how much I loved makeup and encouraged me to pursue esthetics. That led me to the Aveda Institute in Madison, where I graduated in 2023 and started working full-time as an esthetician and makeup artist.
Beaming Beauty Studio was born from my passion for creating beauty experiences that are both luxurious and approachable. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything I do—my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels valued, beautiful, and confident in their own skin. Some of my favorite services to do are lash lifts, facials, and makeup for weddings or special events.
I grew up in the Madison area and now live in Waunakee with my husband, Mitch, and our perfect adorable angel dog, Peach. When I’m not at the studio, you can find me watching movies, shopping, taking a dance class with friends, trying new restaurants, or just hanging out at home—I’m definitely a homebody at heart!
